Session on: “Prevention of bad habits”

The session was aimed at discussing such an urgent problem as bad habits and the prevention of bad habits.
Volunteers learned the term habit. Habit describe an action that has emerged gradually, because of a repetition, and after some time performed automatically. During the session, volunteers learned about the 21-day rule. The goal of this rule is to learn some habit. Later volunteers were divided in 2 groups and wrote about useful and harmful habits that they know. Then the volunteers underlined the two most harmful habits: the use of alcohol and the use of tobacco and their consequences. Volunteers learned that alcohol usage often leads to diseases of the digestive system; alcohol also bring damage to the nervous system, heart and vascular diseases. Use of tobacco can lead to drug addiction and addiction on other chemicals. In addition, there is a chance to be infected with viral hepatitis. Use of alcohol and tobacco are the most harmful habits that have serious threat to society. At the end of the session, volunteers were asked questions on the topic of the session.
