On March 15, 2021 TFPA with financial support of the United Nations Population Fund, have conducted two planned two-day trainings at the Surush Palace on “Basic and rehabilitation services for women and girls subjected to violence”. Attendees of the training were from the Committee of Women and Family Affairs, Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Population, regional inspectors on GBV. Additional participants of the event were the employees of the victims support rooms that was created by United Nations Population Fund.
The purpose of the trainings was to increase the opportunity for the members of the intersectoral working group on “violence against women and girls” through strengthening the theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
The objectives of the training were:
- strengthening the intersectoral approach for providing comprehensive assistance and protection to victims of violence; victims support rooms
- exchange of experience between international organizations;
- the best national experience against domestic violence.
