Involving religious figures in the strengthening the culture of family life

On September 28, 2019, with the support of the United Nations Population Fund and the cooperation of the Committee on Religious Affairs under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Tajik Family Planning Association conducted a seminar on the topic: “Involving religious figures in the implementation of religious programs and strengthening the culture of family life.” The experts in the field of religious law, representatives of the Islamic Institute of the Republic of Tajikistan and representatives of the Committee on Religious Affairs took part in this seminar. In the seminar such important issues as: equality of men and women, the activities of religious associations aimed at enhancing the role of women in society, and the prevention of domestic violence and suicide among girls and women were highlighted by participants. The meeting was useful and recommendations were accepted.
