Capacity building training for medical college teachers

From 9 to 11 November in Bokhtar, Khatlon region and from 17 to 19 November, in Khujand, Sughd region, the Tajik Family Planning Association, with the support of the UN Population Fund, conducted capacity building trainings for 36 teachers of medical colleges in Khatlon and Sughd areas. Trainings were aimed to show modern approaches in the provision of family planning services and issues concerning methods of contraception. These trainings were conducted on the basis of an updated module developed by national experts of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Tajikistan. In the trainings discussed new methods and approaches in teaching medical college students in the provision of family planning services and the provision of contraceptive care, taking into account the use of national protocols. It should be emphasized that this training was carried out in compliance with all sanitary and epidemiological measures to prevent coronavirus infection.
